Just for you, Unhinged! I have finally sat down to make up another blog entry.
Not much has been happening here, just the same ol' same ol' stuff. SSDD. So, I suppose I shall just ramble on about the randomenss of my life. Nothing special. Grandpa and my uncle have been "paying their West Virginia taxes" by going down there (remember, we live in Ohio) to gamble (a recreation Ohio has yet to approve). So, while they go down there, their dog, Camshaft, get tossed over here. This leaves our cats to go hiding downstairs in the basement with the door tightly shut to keep themeselves from becoming chew toys. Unlike our last cats who stood up for themselves against our dog (no longer with us) who stood up for themselves, these two are chickens.
For Christmas I got a brand spanking new laptop from Dell complete with fingerprint security, touch sensitive music keys, LED screen, and Windows Vista. Mom secretly started setting it up so that it would be all ready for me on Christmas morning, but then the touch pad stopped working. Easily, she attached a usb mouse and continued on... She typed in my name into the computer and it became a steady decline as the computer stopped working. All technology is repelled by my touch. It just stops working whenever I use it. But this, it couldn't even live with my name. So it committed computer suicide. So, I ended up finding out because Dell sent out a guy to repair it (which didn't work out well) right when I was home. So, the replacement finally came on Monday (a few days late for Christmas, but I was just as thrilled) and it's been one day, and I have it fully ciustomized. See, this is what a girl can do when she has no school hindering her time! Blogging and computer setup and reading (of course).
Also, because of my 3.2 gpa in my Kent classes, Mom surprised me by giving me her phone that syncs with outlook, has a full keyboard, and has Windows Mobile 6.1. It was Mom's most favorite phone ever. She went in to the Altel store with the intentions of giving me a new one identical to hers, but they had none in stock so she just got a new one and gave me her phone that was working perfectly fine. That is, until it was in my hands. Within ten minutes, nothing on it worked. I had only sent out one text message from it and it just died. Right there as we ate lunch at Taco Bell. So, we ordered a new one because this one couldn't go to sleep (the backlight turns off and saves energy) because whenever it did, it would STAY that way and you couldn't even turn it off. I had to take out the battery and replace it each time I went to turn it on! But, all is well. I have a new one and it, too, is fully customized.
So, there you have it. A breif overview of the mundane life of moi.
